Email Marketing System
John Smith is an account manager XYZ Data Systems. John has just met with a new contact ABC Corporation, and he has identified the potential to sell data management solutions.
Upon returning to the office, John now wants to follow up on the opportunity. Using the Pedrera Email Toolkit, he will send the prospect a customized email that contains relevant sales materials for data management solutions.
Following a few simple steps, John may add the new prospect to the contact database, create and send the personalized email, and even monitor which sales materials are downloaded.
See below to follow each step that John takes...
Step 1: Add Contact

John logs in to the secure Control Panel and clicks the "Add Contact" button. He completes the short form and adds the prospect to the contact database*.
Step 2: Create Email

After adding Jane as a new contact, John now may create his email. By clicking the "Add New Email" link, a personalized email may be created.
Step 3: Select Marketing Materials

Once the core email has been created, John may now select the marketing materials that he would like to include.
He may browse organized folders for them, or perform a keyword search for "data management". He need only check a box next to the ones that he wants, and click continue. The system does all the rest.
Step 4: Preview and Send

Now John may preview the email just as the prospect will see it. If he needs to make edits, he may do so. If the email is finished, he may send it whenever he is ready.
Step 5: Monitor Reports

After sending the email, John may monitor a report that shows the following:
- If the email was delivered properly
- If the email was opened by Jane
- Which materials Jane viewed
John has delivered a highly effective follow-up communication to his meeting, and he can even gauge Jane’s interest in the proposed services.
